Timothy Long

Pianist, conductor, and composer; artistic and music director of Opera at the Eastman School of Music. The official page notes assistant-conductor work with the Boston Philharmonic and associate-conductor work with New York City Opera.

Oklahoma connection

Officially described as a Muscogee Nation citizen from Thlopthlocco Tribal Town and one-half Choctaw through his mother. The page also says he made his first debut with the Oklahoma City Symphony at age 16.
