Hall of Fame history

Wade Hayes (2020)

Wade Hayes is a country singer-songwriter whose 1995 debut Old Enough to Know Better reached number one. The official anniversary block explicitly prints (2020), so that parenthetical year is retained rather than silently changed to 2022.

Oklahoma connection

The Grand Ole Opry identifies Hayes's hometown as Bethel Acres, Oklahoma, and documents his Oklahoma upbringing and family-band background.

Recognition

The captured Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame roster places this entry under 2022.

Questions in the source record

The current roster shows Wade in 2020 and again as Wade Hayes (2020) in the 2022 block, while public ceremony material places a related induction event in 2022 and the media kit says 2022. Confirm whether this is a delayed/anniversary presentation or a roster-year correction.
