The documented story
The official lineage credits Central Pacific and Western Pacific World War II service and an Army Superior Unit Award for 2009–2010. A 1995 image documents the band at a Tinker Air Force Base V-E Day commemoration.
People and leadership
The lineage certificate does not supply a director chronology. Leadership names may be added later from unit records without changing the verified lineage.
Community and organization
The ensemble is a U.S. Army band stationed at Fort Sill during its Oklahoma chapter.
Reading the evidence
The packet separates the unit’s full federal lineage from the Oklahoma period beginning in 1955.
Questions for further research
A Fort Sill-era commander list and complete performance chronology are optional enrichment, not core blockers.
