The musical history of Love County.
Love County’s first-pass record is strongest for Marietta and for the availability of historical newspapers and school yearbooks. The current Marietta Bands history page says the Marietta program has influenced and benefited students for more than eight decades and includes marching, concert, symphonic, wind-ensemble, and small-ensemble programs. That statement supports a likely pre-1945 origin, but it is a current institutional claim rather than a period document. Confidence: Medium.
